The Judicial Administrator’s Office of the Louisiana Supreme Court is currently working on a manual to provide guidelines to judges regarding pro se litigation. The manual includes ethical guidelines that address the issue of an attorney’s preparation of pleadings for clients. The guidelines suggest that lawyers should not write documents or prepare pro se clients for arguments without disclosing these facts to the court.
