Amendments to the Maine Bar Rules facilitate limited representation through changes to the scope of representation rule and the addition of a Limited Representation Agreement to be jointly signed by the client and attorney. ABA Model Rule 6.5 on Non profit and Court Annotated Legal Programs was also adopted.
- Maine's "unbundling" rules were promulgated on May 17, 2001, effective July 1st.
