The Oregon State Bar Special Legal Ethics Committee on Disciplinary Rules was created in August 2001 to review Oregon Code of Professional Responsibility and make amendments, following release of ABA Ethics 2000. In Jan. 2003, the Committee published its recommendations (adopting ABA Model Rules).
